Step 1: Assemble Fin and Base Angle

Attach fin to base angle with two 1/4" X 3/4" S.S. bolts. In case of rib obstruction, base angle is reversible.

Step 2: Mount Base

Put sealant on bottom of base angle. Place VentSaver centered behind pipe and fasten base to roof with the four 1 1/2" lag screws.

Step 3: Install Strap

Put 1/4" X 3/4" bolt through the bent end of the strap, as illustrated in "Top View". Cut off excess strap. For vent pipes, cut pipe off 2" to 3" above the VentSaver.

Additional Instructions:

• We recommend using a cordless drill with 5/16" driver, tin snips, two 7/16" wrenches, and caulk gun to install a VentSaver.
• Check all fasteners for tightness.
